AJ DEGENHARDT:

Degenhardt (Madison Wisconsin) was a full-scholarship, four year letter winner with the University Wisconsin - Madison program that won the NCAA national championship. As a Badger student-athlete under Mike Eaves and Mark Osieki, Degenhardt became known for his hard work ethic, community service leadership and advocacy for drug-free activities.
Before joining the Badger ranks, Degenhardt played two years with the Green Bay Gamblers (USHL) for a total of six years under the tutelage of Oseiki who praises Degenhardt’s eagerness to learn and then teach the game while helping players find the appropriate balance of time and energy to succeed at higher levels.
Since college graduation, Degenhardt coached at Verona High School, the Madison Stars AAA program and the Inside the Red Hockey School to prepare for a full time coaching career.
Coach Degenhardt is certified by USA Hockey as a Level 4 coach and is excited about the 2009-2010 season.
When not with the team, you can often find him at Total Hockey Training in Eagan, MN where he is on staff.

"Service above Self" As a commitment to service, Degenhardt also joined the Rotaract Club of the Athlete Village and served as Head Coach as part of the Goodwill Peace Ambassador trip to Vancouver during the 2010 Winter Olympics.
Current Position Degenhardt will be announcing his new position for the 2010-2011 season soon.
